Amani Congleton graduated in 2021 from Kent State University with a BA in Fashion Design.

Throughout her life she has always been drawn to various forms of creative expression. In high school she participated in numerous art shows, designed a mural, won a billboard competition, and was featured on a local news channel segment for her talent. Even though her fashion career didn't start until college, she always had a passion for it since she was a child.

Pursuing a fashion design degree has led her to gaining technical skills in garment construction, studying abroad, working with stylists for photoshoots, and celebrity placements. In her fourth year, Amani started to discover her main interests in dimensional textile design, fashion illustration, custom design, and up-cycling.
